This presentation focuses on the neuropsychology of giftedness including both research and case study data. First, Dr. Resnik covers conceptual models of ‘giftedness' and the evidence base for each. Second, Dr. Resnik discusses identification, specifically issues around evidence-based assessment. This part includes a discussion of equitable identification of all children considering their culture, neurodivergence, or disability. Third, the presentation includes a discussion of best practices for educational and therapeutic interventions applied to case study data.
